St. John Lutheran School offers a fun, inviting,  and Christian-friendly curriculum for Early Learners, PK3, PK4, K-2nd.  SJLS prepares each and every child for the next step in their education.

Meet our staff

Here at St. John, we have a wonderfully warm staff who love being a part of the St. John family. Many of our teachers started as SJLS moms and some have stayed many years after their own children graduated.

We operate as a non-profit ministry of St. John Lutheran Church. The school is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association.

Our philosophy is to guide children’s learning and development by building on the natural excitement children have for the world around them. Each program is planned for the development of concepts and skills through a curriculum in which the child is actively involved in his or her own learning. Our teachers provide a nurturing, active, and Christian environment for each and every SJLS student to reach their full potential. Play is the work of children!

Please come and visit!  All new or prospective students are welcome to a *free day!
Please call ahead to reserve a space.  Parents of students are, of course, welcome any time!

*Free day is from 8:30-12:30 pm only.

SJLS operates as a non-profit ministry of St. John Lutheran Church.  The school is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association.  We are a non-accredited school and hold a Religious Exemption from state licensing.  This means that SJLS must meet all applicable state criteria, such as student-to-staff ratios, health certification of staff and student body, as well as other safety standards.
We are inspected by an Advisory Board made up of parents, church, community representatives, the school Director, and the Headmaster (Pastor of the Church).
